Terms & Conditions
for The Savvy Way
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by The Savvy Way (“Savvy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking or using any of our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Services
Savvy provides property-related consultancy and management services within the UAE, including but not limited to:
- Property inspections and snagging
- Technical property audits
- Renovation and project management
- Owner’s representation
- Handyman and maintenance coordination
- Landscaping and small renovation works
- Interior design and consultancy
- Departure and move-out management services
All services are carried out based on the scope agreed between Savvy and the client.
2. Bookings & Payments
Bookings are confirmed once agreed by both parties and may require advance payment or deposit confirmation.
Payments for inspections, consultancy, project management, renovation supervision, departure services, or related works must be completed according to the invoice terms provided by Savvy.
Late payments may result in delays, suspension of services, or cancellation of ongoing work.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled inspection or appointment may be rescheduled free of charge.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be charged partially or in full depending on preparation, staffing, and scheduling commitments already made.
- Same-day cancellations for inspections or on-site services may be charged in full.
Savvy reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to operational, safety, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Property Access
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure access to the property at the agreed time.
If Savvy representatives are unable to access the property due to missing permissions, incorrect details, lack of keys, security restrictions, or other access-related issues outside our control, the appointment may still be chargeable.
Delays caused by access restrictions may reduce the inspection or service time available.
5. Inspection Limitations
Savvy inspections are visual and non-invasive unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Our inspections and reports are designed to identify visible defects, deficiencies, workmanship concerns, maintenance issues, and observations accessible at the time of inspection.
We do not:
- Remove fixed installations or finishes
- Conduct destructive testing unless specifically agreed
- Guarantee future performance of systems or materials
- Predict future defects or failures
Certain concealed areas, including internal pipework, concealed wiring, structural elements, waterproofing layers, or inaccessible spaces, may not be visible during inspection.
6. Utilities & Site Conditions
For accurate inspections, utilities such as electricity, water, and air conditioning systems should be operational during the appointment.
If utilities are disconnected or unavailable, parts of the inspection may be limited. Savvy will still inspect accessible and testable areas to the best extent possible under the circumstances.
7. Reports & Recommendations
Inspection reports, snagging reports, technical observations, project recommendations, and consultancy feedback are based on the condition of the property at the time of assessment only.
Reports are intended to support informed decision-making but do not constitute:
- Structural engineering certification
- Legal advice
- Valuation reports
- Guarantees or warranties
Any recommendations provided by Savvy are advisory in nature.
8. Renovation & Project Management
Where Savvy provides renovation management, owner’s representation, contractor coordination, or project supervision services:
- Timelines may vary depending on approvals, suppliers, contractors, authorities, weather conditions, or material availability.
- Savvy acts as a project coordinator and consultant unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Final workmanship responsibility remains with the appointed contractor or supplier carrying out the work.
Savvy will use reasonable professional efforts to supervise, coordinate, and monitor project quality and progress.
9. Departure Services
Savvy Departure Services may include move-out coordination, inventory handling, storage coordination, shipping assistance, furniture sales, property handover support, vehicle handling, donations, disposal coordination, and related exit-management services.
Third-party logistics providers, shipping companies, storage providers, movers, or buyers may be involved during the process.
Savvy is not liable for:
- Delays caused by customs, shipping providers, or authorities
- Third-party damages during transport or storage
- Market value fluctuations for sold items or vehicles
- Delays outside our operational control
10. Liability
Savvy accepts no liability for:
- Hidden or concealed defects
- Future issues occurring after inspection or project completion
- Actions or workmanship of third-party contractors or suppliers
- Delays caused by developers, contractors, authorities, or external parties
- Indirect or consequential losses
Our maximum liability, where legally applicable, shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service provided.
11. Intellectual Property
All reports, documents, photographs, inspection records, designs, and digital deliverables remain the intellectual property of Savvy unless otherwise agreed.
Reports are prepared solely for the client named in the booking and may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially reused without written consent.
12. Privacy
Savvy respects client confidentiality and handles client information in accordance with applicable UAE privacy and data protection practices.
Information shared with Savvy will only be used for operational, contractual, and service-related purposes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising in connection with Savvy services shall fall under the jurisdiction of the UAE courts.
